Demonstration of If-Then (Math)
If – you are running out of time.
Then – remember there are “quicksand” problems near the end of a math section that will require lengthy computation. Leave these for last. Remember to get the numbers out of the words and to start working a problem rather than to continue looking at it, trying to decide on a formula you can apply. And practice the test. You will become more and more efficient.
If – you still run out of time.
Then – focus your time on the first ¾ of the questions as these are the easier questions and you should get a higher percentage of those correct. If you are running out of time after finishing the first ¾, look over the last ¼ carefully. Frequently some of the most difficult questions are worked quickly if you recognize the type of question.
